San Corrado Cathedral - Molfetta
Just a few kilometres away from the Molfetta Outlet, the Molfetta Cathedral is well worth a visit. Like so many in Apulia, Molfetta Cathedral stands very close to the sea, almost extending its protection not only to the village but also to the ships that sailed its waters, seeking a safe refuge in the port as far back as the early years of the second millennium, with its two unmistakeable towers and east-facing domes. In the past, the cliff was right behind the church; only in 1925 were today's large quays built.
