The Swabian Castle - Trani
The Swabian Castle has been completely restored and is now open to the public for proper admiration of its magnificent stance. It was built to the orders of Frederick II of Swabia, to protect the famous Kingdom of Sicily inherited from his mother. The castle is very important both in terms of its architecture and location. Its quadrangular form with imposing towers at the corners recalls the crusader castles of the Holy Land.
