Italian cuisine officially receives UNESCO World Heritage status. At Puglia Village, we’ve decided to celebrate by stimulating all the senses on a unique journey through the scents, sounds and rituals of this wonderful region. We look forward to seeing you at the end of September for three special events: three different ways to tell the story of this great food and wine culture.

From 25 September to 4 October | Village Square (free entry) 

We often miss some of the details when we're at the meal table. Daniele D’Agostino, named World’s Best Food Photographer, reveals what they are in 40 striking fine art photographs. A visual journey that follows local produce as it passes through the skilled hands of farmers, artisans and chefs – including three professionals from our Village – and is transformed into traditional recipes from Puglia. 

A culinary concert by the Food Ensemble 

26 September | Two 30-minute performances 

Have you ever heard the sound of a recipe? The Food Ensemble bring their cooking gear on stage for a surprising live performance during which they sample cooking sounds in real time – knives chopping, pans sizzling, sauce bubbling – and mix them with synthesizers to create electronic music. 

 And at the end of the concert, guests will be able to sample the food they’ve cooked.

3 October | Live performance and Meet & Greet 

Food and wine tradition is alive and continues to evolve in the hands of people who know how to innovate. Francesco Aquila, the popular winner of MasterChef, comes to the Village for an up-close live cooking demonstration. 

Come and find out about the secrets, tricks and skills hidden behind a special recipe that showcases the very best of Puglia. After the show, the chef looks forward to seeing you for a quick chat and a photo together.
