To celebrate the new Mondadori store, a festival for book lovers awaits you in the Village. The event will feature exclusive appearances by special guests including authors Francesco Carofiglio and Gabriella Genisi, plus a series of theatre performances for younger readers. The event is completely free of charge.

Francesco Carofiglio – 5:30pm – 6:30pm – Piazza Scirocco entrance

Francesco Carofiglio, a renowned writer and much more besides, will use wonderful live illustrations to describe how the characters in his latest bestseller, “Camillo, il piccolo topo di biblioteca”, were inspired by the simplest of drawings.

Gabriella Genisi – 6:30pm – 7:30pm – Piazza Scirocco entrance

Gabriella Genisi, one of the best-known women writers in contemporary Italian fiction: during the event, you’ll be surprised by the direct connection she offers to the world of the detectives in her stories.

Theatre performances for children – 11am – 1pm / 4pm – 8pm (in the streets of the Village)

A theatre company specialising in children’s theatre will be performing immersive shows in the streets of the Village. Fantastic characters inspired by the most beautiful classic fairy tales will leap from the pages of books, delighting even the youngest readers.
